About Us — Muve Colombo

We started out with only an idea - to see if we could make a Legal Process Outsourcing office in Sri Lanka work.

From a casual phone call about doing business in Sri Lanka from the UK, to a fast-growing company that is now almost 350 strong across the 2 countries - **Mûve is the idea that paid off and continues to do so**.
Built on the foundation of talent in Sri Lanka, a UK market worth £2.5 billon that is wide-open to expand into and an ambitious and talented leadership team - **the goal is to become a top 5 UK conveyancer by 2025**.

“Connect2Law was incorporated in the UK, with the aim of changing the traditional conveyancing model through an innovative digital approach. ”

“Vohara Solutions Pvt Ltd was founded in Sri Lanka as a contracted outsource office, starting with a Legal Support and Finance team. This small team of 3 were the first to receive work from the UK, working out of an annex. While this was a small step at the time this would soon see an exponential growth.”

— 2017

“Mûve opened its first office in Nuegeoda, with a team of 12.

More functions were outsourced to Sri Lanka such as Customer Services, Account Management and Post Completion.”

— 2018

“Vohara Solutions opened its second office in Kalubowila and extended the office within 8 months, supporting the growing team of now 40 employees.

Conveyancing, the core and largest function of the business, was started in Sri Lanka.

Connect2Law rebranded to Mûve and officially merged with Vohara Solutions, becoming one company.”

“Mûve UK successfully raised $1.5 million to expand the business.

Now 45 employees strong and boosted with investor confidence, Muve opened a new office in Nawala.

Customer Experience and Learning and Development functions started operating in Sri Lanka. ”

“As the business grew to 120 employees, a new office was opened at Mirihana, with the aim of growing to 250+ in the next 2 years.

The Onboarding and Audit functions were expanded into Sri Lanka.

Recruitment continued to ramp up. By end of 2021 Muve had a head count of 150 employees. ”

Chief Operating Officer
The problem-solver, Adam’s ability to get to the root of any issue is how he stays on top of the whole operation. He enjoys playing and watching football, especially Manchester United and is already training his toddler to play for England.

With over 20 years of work experience, Dhanya has extensive management experience across a diverse group of multinational industries. Dhanya heads our finance team and plays a critical role in our leadership team. He drives his team towards the strategies, goals, and metrics that allow us to meet our ambitious financial objectives.

The living definition of a ‘people person’, Nigel makes sure everyone is happy working at Muve and supports them to be the best possible version of themselves, through training and quality. A serial entrepreneur before he joined Muve, he’s always got a story of ‘That time when…’ if you dare to ask!

Having gathered a plethora of experience in leading multinational organizations – primarily in the BPO space – Richaryd considers the ability to drive lasting change, even amidst complicated and challenging market conditions to be among his key strength. His results-oriented attitude comes from his firm belief that you ‘get what you give’, whether with people or with businesses. He loves spending his free time travelling with his family and playing his 90’s music on loop.

Mother of 2 and now a motherly head of a team of 75, Mithrika’s a calm head in a conveyancing storm. She has developed herself to be an expert in the British Conveyancing industry. Mithrika really enjoys karaoke and social gaming!

Samudra Ubesena

Manager – Post Completion
Samudra brings a wealth of experience from his 12-year tenure in the BPO sector, marked by a consistent drive for innovation and excellence. His journey at Muve saw him rise through the ranks, starting in the Legal Support team where he honed his skills and eventually transitioned into a leadership role as an assistant manager. Samudra later assumed responsibility for the Post Completion Department, where he is currently working with the team to enhance the efficiency of the process.
Outside of Muve, Samudra's passions extend to the world of literature and anime. As an avid reader, he finds inspiration and relaxation within the pages of books, exploring a wide array of genres and authors.
Maneka Dedigama

Head of Compliance
Maneka's journey from Conveyancer and then transferring to our Legal Process and Compliance Team showcases her potential and tireless work ethic. Working with our General Counsel Emma, she is the ideal candidate to lead our Compliance initiatives, enhancing the quality of our compliance checks done across the Conveyancing process.

Chanuka is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant with more than ten years of experience in finance; working in industries spanning from Telecommunication, Apparel Manufacturing, and Investment Banking. He is someone who always thinks outside the box and strives to improve business processes by increasing quality and efficiency. During his free hours, you can find Chanuka in front of his laptop, composing or producing music.

A hard worker and a certified member of The British Computer Society, Randika doesn’t hesitate to question the process and come with ideas to improve its efficiency. He has exceptional administrative skills and is able to prioritize and work efficiently with competing demands.
